About the Land Trust
Winner, 2004 Emerging CDC of the Year Award, Ohio CDC Association
Incorporated in 2001, the Cuyahoga Community Land Trust is a non-profit membership organization that promotes secure and stable homeownership for lower-income families in greater Cleveland. Voting membership is open to all residents of Cuyahoga County who pay annual dues. Dues are set by the membership at the CCLT Annual Meeting. Currently dues are defined as: any financial or volunteer service contribution to the Land Trust.
CCLT is recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
Mission:
The Cuyahoga Community Land Trust (CCLT) is a membership organization that uses the land trust model for community stewardship of land in our neighborhoods. CCLT secures permanent affordability of home ownership, rental and commercial opportunities for future generations. CCLT partners with local development organizations. CCLT is part of a larger democratic vision that seeks equity to develop stability, diversity and affordability for the people and neighborhoods it serves.
