Steps to purchasing a Land Trust home:

  1. Determine that you meet the income eligibility requirements (see chart at right).
  2. Download and fill out the Land Trust application. Return it to the Land Trust with all required documentation.
  3. Meet with the Land Trust's Homebuyer Services Coordinator to discuss your homebuying strength. Develop a strategy in consultation with the Homebuyer Services Coordinator to become mortgage ready.
  4. Continue meeting with the Homebuyer Services Coordinator, as needed, until the Homebuyer Services Coordinator has determined that you are mortgage ready.
  5. Become preapproved for a mortgage with one of our participating lending partners.
  6. Complete an eligible homebuyer education course.
  7. Select and purchase one of the quality homes from our inventory.
